The Covers Challenge!


I've set myself a challenge to play and video one new cover song a week and post them up on here/ youtube/ facebook.

I tend to get caught up in other people's music and not work much on my own songs, or learning new material that I can play. Problem with my own stuff as that it often takes a while before its ready for people to hear. I like the idea of making myself learn lots of new songs by other people and actually having the courage to show them to people as a starting point this year- before I'm able to put up more of my own stuff! Its going to happen :D



Here goes- song number one was Say The Word- Kerrigan and Lowdermilk, beautiful song, musical theatre.


I've a list of new songs from friends to get to work on.
I aim to average one song a week, so sing 52 in total.

Wish me luck and feel free to post suggestions that you have for new songs!

I know some things are not going to work on ukulele or piano, but others can work quite well..
